I'll do this when ...

I'll do this when I feel motivated.
I'll do it when I'm confident. When I have the money. When I have more time. When I have the courage. When I feel good about myself.
So many people say I'll do this when.
It seems that what we want to do right now, is conditional upon doing or feeling something else. I'll do this when I ...
But what if that 'when' never came.
How do you then get started when you don't even believe in yourself.
How do you get started when you are not confident.
It turns out that confidence is a consequence of taking action. You take action which helps you build competence and the confidence then follows as a by product. You do the very thing you feel you need to be confident to start doing and you end up becoming confident at it.
Not the other way around.
We all have weaknesses. How about accepting and embracing ourselves as we are and moving forward anyway.
"Who I am right now is beautiful. However I am still committed to growing and getting better."
Changing your mindset to accept who you are as you are does not mean that you won't grow . You can still move forward and demand more from yourself.
"Who I am today doesn't dictate who I can be."
"I don't need to beat myself up for where I am today." Where you are today is an accumulation of all the things you have done in the past.
"Everything I do now is going to contribute to the person I am going to become."
Reframe to accept yourself and still push yourself to achieve more.
The falling down and the getting back up is where growth happens.
You don't have to be the best and amazing all the time. You don't have to be right all the time. It's about learning . Approach it with the perspective of learning.
Stop worrying about failing. Stop getting in your own way.
Believe in yourself that you are good enough to do what it is that you want to start doing .
And be so good that they can't ignore you.
