Transform Your Fitness Routine with PRANA ON: A Personal Review
Why I move
Exercise and movement to me is about making our bodies strong, balanced and connected to our mind.
It's about feeling good.
I move to feel stronger mentally and physically.
I move to feel good.
Movement brings out different sides of me.
Sometimes it's courage, sometimes it’s my competitive spirit, sometimes it’s mental focus and flow.
Sometimes it's just my joyful and fun side.
Moving fuels you. When you workout, remember it's your workout.
You workout because you love yourself and you want to take the best care of yourself.
You workout firstly and foremostly for your health.
This is your fitness inspiration.
This is your workout and you commit to it like you commit to your marriage, to your children, to your work.
I move to be stronger mentally and physically. I move to feel good. O.
The relationship between
Dance Cardio and I is a
love story that can't be explained. O.
We are how we move
Everyone has a movement that they love. The one movement that gets me so excited and joyful as well as helping me stay in the moment is dance cardio.
I've been doing the Tracy Anderson Method for around 11 years now. Dance Cardio is a full-body workout in the truest sense. It works every muscle in your body, helps improve coordination, memorisation, endurance, flexibility, and most importantly, it makes your heart happy.
Although there is something so extraordinary about lifting your body off the ground, in the beginning you don’t have to jump. You don’t have to jump at all in fact. You just have to perform like everyone is watching. I can assure you that you will see a huge difference in your overall mood, decrease stress levels, and have an extra pep in your step.
Harder Better Faster Stronger
TIP:
It's about the music not the movement itself.
Find the music you love first then the movement will follow.
FACT :
We’re all emotionally programmed to move to music. And there’s science to support the idea that forming this type of connection to music can help you go harder, better, faster, stronger.
Fall in love with movement
We all know why we should exercise but instead many of us feel it's a chore. But it doesn't have to be. Movement can empower you and can be a source of joy. When we understand this and experience the feeling, we fall in love with movement.
Invest in yourself. Get out of the comforts of "I cannot", "I do not want to" and "it's too difficult".
Resistance training is an essential part of an effective exercise routine. Strength training delivers a tremendous amount of physical and mental health benefits. I love doing arm workouts using wrist weights. I often use the iconic Bala Bangles as seen in this photo. They weigh 1 pound (0.45kg) each and add a constant but comfortable resistance to your workout. When you are using such light weights, precision is key. Wear them on your wrist or ankles for a versatile workout to suit your needs. I also use the Bala Bars and the Power Ring.

Exercise is important for our mental health
Movement and exercise is so important for our physical and mental health. We need exercise for feeling in control and connected, comfortable, happy, and confident in our bodies. When you embrace fitness into your lifestyle, you’ll feel more energized than ever. You will also realise that exercise helps us find happiness, hope, connection, and courage. Once you know this, you can't unknow it.
And when you think you are too old to exercise, think again. This is the time when it’s most important that you do. This is the time that you continue to move your entire body. As people age, they tend to lose muscle mass and function, which can lead to an increased risk of injury. Practicing regular physical activity helps reducing muscle loss and maintaining strength, creating healthy challenges for your muscles and brain. Whether you are forty, fifty, or older, it's imperative that you exercise.
